Three nos of FPO on i) Dairy & Goatery-Kamdhenu Milk Cooperative FPO Society Limited, ii) Dairy & Piggery-Uttarpurbi Cooperative FPO Ltd. and iii) Goatery – Dooars Goat Farmers Producer Organisation at Dhubri, Kokrajhar and Coochbehar district respectively, supported by NABARD, Assam-RO, Guwahati and WBRO-Kolkata. The aims to mobilise 750 related farmers to boost-up their livelihood through backward & forward linkage. The projects period are 5 years for each. Line department from Assam and West Bengal also collaborating with the projects through PMC (project Monitoring committee) .
The DPR based post LEDP Sitalpati CDP is being implanted at Ghughumari Panisala and Dewanhat GP of Coochbehar-I block of Coochbehar District supported by NABARD, WBRO-Kolkata. The DPR based Sitalpati CDP aims to mobilise 200 Sitalpati artisans from Coochbehar-I block of Coochbehar district to boost-up their livelihood through backward & forward linkage. The projects period is 2 years. Line department from district level also collaborating with the projects through PMC (project Monitoring committee) .
The Livelihood and Enterprise Development Programme (LEDP) on Bamboo Craft making is implementing at Gauripur block of Dhubri district with support from NABARD Assam-Ro, Guwahati to create sustainable livelihoods for Self Help Group (SHG) members by providing intensive skill building, enterprise development, and end-to-end support for off-farm bamboo craft activities to boost their income through holistic interventions like training, market linkage, and handholding to transform them into successful rural entrepreneurs.
