Who we are :

The “BOSUNDHARA” have established in 2020 with new memorandum of association (MOA) and articles of association (AOA) with legal headquarters domiciled in the canton of Coochbehar, West Bengal and extended upto North-East HQ at Bongaigaon (Assam). We have obtained tax exemption status like 80G and 12A of Income tax authorities of India and registered under NITI-AYOG & CSR, Govt. of India.
Bosundhara starts its intervention with livelihood promotion initiatives for women upliftment as holistic development for serving the SDG as

SDG-1

Taking initiatives directly to address poverty by creating sources of income through skill training, securing assets through FLC, and providing individuals with the means to sustain their lives and lift themselves out of poverty

SDG-2

By enabling stable and remunerative livelihoods, especially in rural agriculture, initiatives improve household income and purchasing power, which directly enhances food security and nutrition, helping to end hunger.

Many initiatives focus on empowering women through skill development, self-reliance training, and ensuring equitable access to economic resources like land and financial services, which helps reduce gender disparities

To explore such livelihood initiatives, it also realizes that initiatives should be taken for climate change adaptation and mitigation activities with availability of natural resources, according to local peoples earning habits and interceptive relationship of both. From such point of view Bosundhara starts its initiatives from backward villages of Coochbehar District and extend up to Brahmaputra Valley of Lower Assam.

Our initiative which starts from farm sector livelihood and continued with Non-Farm Sector initiatives, when we understand and realize that non-farm sector is also depriving since long decades.
